What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a profession which specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions which effect the joints, muscles, and nerves of the body.
Benefits of chiropractic care
Chiropractic is a diverse and dynamic health profession that puts the patients needs first. We use a range of treatment and rehabilitation techniques to help patients with a variety of conditions and goals. Care can be broken into 3 main phases and depending on why you come to us, we will start in a different phase to accommodate:
- Pain relief: this is where many of our patients start. We begin by working to get you moving again. This might be relieving a minor niggle that has been bothering you for a long time or treating a severe flare up of pain. This needs to be achieved before moving onto the next phase of care.
- Functional Correction: this is where we progress to when patients start to feel better. Our program changes, becoming less about treating specific painful areas and zooms out, focussing more on how you MOVE and how this might be contributing to your symptoms.
- Being 1% better: this is the final stage of care and the place we hope all of our patients get to! We work with you on an on-going basis to try and keep you operating at your best. From performing at the world championship, being pain-free at the office, or playing with the grandkids we work with you towards your long term goals.
