Benefits of chiropractic care
Chiropractic care is a diverse and dynamic health profession that puts the patient’s needs first. We use a range of treatment and rehabilitation techniques to help patients with a variety of conditions and goals.
At MOVE Clinic & Studio, our care treatments can be broken into 3 main phases and depending on why you come to us, we will start in a different phase to accommodate:
- Pain relief: this is where many of our patients start. We begin by working to get you moving again. This might be relieving a minor niggle that has been bothering you for a long time or treating a severe flare up of pain. This needs to be achieved before moving onto the next phase of care.
- Functional Correction: this is where we progress to when patients start to feel better. Our program changes, becoming less about treating specific painful areas and zooms out, focussing more on how you MOVE and how this might be contributing to your symptoms.
- Being 1% better: this is the final stage of care and the place we hope all of our patients get to! We work with you on an on-going basis to try and keep you operating at your best. From performing at the world championship, being pain-free at the office, or playing with the grandkids we work with you towards your long term goals.

Meet your chiropractors
Having always been active as a youth, Charlie first received chiropractic care to help with the aches and pains associated with bodybuilding training and working as a personal trainer.
After moving to the UK, Charlie spent 5 years training to be a chiropractor at the prestigious Anglo-European Chiropractic College (now AECCUC). He also completed post-graduate training following his chiropractic program with the Royal College of Chiropractic and AECCUC.
When he isn’t working with patients or teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Charlie enjoys spending time with his family. Further, he enjoys keeping active with running, the gym, mountain walking, and DIY.
After growing up as an active child with a keen interest in a multitude of sports, Kieran discovered Chiropractic care for injury recovery after studying biology and physical education in sixth form. This interest led him to spend 5 years studying the profession at the highly regarded Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales.
During his time at university, Kieran was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes which was an experience that transformed his outlook on life and reinforced the critical value of prioritising health. This also gave him first-hand experience with how Chiropractic can provide a broad selection of healthcare options tailored to support people on an individual basis.
When he isnβt working with patients, Kieran has a strong passion for running and training. He spends a lot of time watching many different sports including football, mixed martial arts and athletics. In addition to this, he enjoys his new hobby of taking Jiu Jitsu classes here at MOVE.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a GP referral to see a chiropractor?
No. Chiropractors are primary healthcare professionals, meaning you can book directly without a referral.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. All treatments are performed by GCC-registered chiropractors following evidence-based guidelines.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition and goals. After your initial assessment, your chiropractor will explain your recommended plan.
Will I feel sore after treatment?
Some mild stiffness can occur as your body adjusts, but this typically settles within 24 hours.

I tried my first reformer class at Move almost a year ago, just wanting to see what it was all about, but I donβt think I expected the difference it would end up making for me. Almost 12 months later, with classes twice per week and regular 1:1 session with Jenn too, and Iβm now noticeably stronger, more toned and (probably more importantly) I have a way better awareness of how my body moves and works than I ever have before. One of the things that really sets this place apart is Jenn and Charlieβs clinical background, their understanding of anatomy and movement is next level and you can really feel that in the way they teach. they make sure you're training properly, safely, and theyβre great at adapting exercises to suit your individual needs. On top of all that, theyβre just genuinely lovely people. The vibe at the studio is super welcoming, and thereβs a real sense of community. Iβve never found a form of exercise before that I look forward to as much as I do this. Highly recommend!Posted on Nathan AllsopTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Anna and StevenPosted on son oTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had my 1st consultation with Charlie to better understand my pain and potential causes. Clearly what i believed it to be and the actual cause of the pain were quite different. I now have a short treatment plan to resolve the issues. Charlie explained everything thoroughly and gave expert advice for self help.Posted on Tom PeevorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend this studio enough! I've been attending both Pilates and jujitsu classes here, and I also benefit from their chiropractic care and sports massage.
